Former Juneau resident James M. Hall died Nov. 5, 2009, in Des Moines, Wash. He was 86.
Born July 7, 1923, in Ketchikan, he was employed by the U.S. Coast Guard and served 20 years as a civil engineer in the Juneau office. His activities included square dancing and being a member of the Masonic Lodge and Chapel by the Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, two daughters, three grandchildren and two great-grand children.
