ANCHORAGE - A Dillingham man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident Tuesday.
Alaska State Troopers said James John Odomin, 48, was riding his all-terrain vehicle in Chignik Lake on Tuesday afternoon when he crashed the vehicle into a house.
No one in the house was injured, but Odomin was pinned between the ATV and a wall. He was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious head injuries. Troopers said Odomin had a history of seizures, which may have contributed to the crash.
Odomin was loaded onto a Penair flight for transport to the Dillingham hospital soon after the accident, but he died en route, troopers said.
