Judgments

• Kevin W. Pogue, 39, was found guilty of resisting arrest - interfering with an officer, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Sept. 9.

Magistrate John Sivertsen, sentenced him to a $500 fine, one day in jail and a $50 surcharge.

• Allan C. Pearce, 25, was found guilty of sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Aug. 8.

District Judge Peter Froehlich sentenced Pearce to a $400 fine with $300 suspended, 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended, to enroll in pay for and complete the Juneau Alcohol Safety Action Program, and placed him on probation for one year with the standard conditions of release which include complying with the sentence, violating no laws, committing no crimes, paying for the cost of incarceration and a misdemeanor surcharge. He also has to pay a past due fine for a previous offense.

• Derral K. Fuller, 41, was found guilty of resisting a police officer, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Oct. 4.

Superior Court Judge Patricia Collins sentenced him to pay a $500 fine with $500 suspended, JASAP and placed him on probation for one year with the standard condition of release.

• Rey B. Barril, 40, was found guilty of drunken driving, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Oct. 4.

Collins sentenced him to a $3,000 fine with $2,000 suspended, 200 days in jail with 140 days suspended, a one-year driver's license revocation and placed him on probation for 18 months with the standard conditions of release.

• John A. Paul, 27, was found guilty of disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of April 13.

The original charge was domestic violence assault, a misdemeanor.

Froehlich sentenced him to a $500 fine with $250 suspended, 60 days in jail with 55 days suspended and placed him on probation for two years with the standard conditions of release. He also is prohibited from consuming alcohol or drugs or going where they are sold or served. He also must enroll in, pay for and complete anger management and alcohol classes through Tongass Community Counseling and parenting classes.

He also was found guilty on four counts of violating the conditions of his release stemming from offenses of Sept. 11.

He was sentenced to a total of 105 days in jail with 100 suspended, a $1,250 fine with $1,150 suspended and placed him on probation for two years with the standard condition of release. He also must perform 40 hours of community work service.

One count of violating the conditions of release stemming from an incident of April 13 was dismissed.

• Thomas I. Evenson Jr., 58, was found guilty of disorderly conduct - challenge to fight, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Sept. 4.

The original charge was assault - recklessly cause injury.

Sivertsen sentenced him to 30 days in jail.

He also was found guilty of violating the conditions of his release stemming from an offense of Sept. 5.

He was sentenced to 25 days in jail with 13 days suspended and placed him on probation for one year with the standard conditions of release.

• Mark A. Paddock, 22, was found guilty of assault - recklessly cause injury stemming from an offense of Sept. 26.

Sivertsen sentenced him to a $1,000 fine with $1,000 suspended, 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended, JASAP and placed him on probation for one year with the standard conditions of release.
