The Auke Bay Elementary School Parent Teacher Association would like to express its most sincere gratitude to many in our wonderful Juneau community - our amazing volunteers and the many local businesses that made our annual Halloween Carnival such a great success.
To Auke Bay School's volunteer community - teachers, staff, parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who helped create, operate, and clean up the Carnival, and those who baked yummies for the Cake Walk. There are too many of you to name individually, but we thank each and every one of you. The Carnival would not happen without your support.
To the students of the TMHS X-Country team and JDHS track and field team who designed, built, operated, and cleaned up our Haunted House. These groups of high school students did a fantastic job making our Haunted House a very spooky, fun event! Congratulations and thank you to each of you for a job well done! And to the teams' coaches, Scott May and Janette Gagnon, who organized and managed their students' effort (and other adults who helped, too) - thank you! You are awesome leaders and your students are the best! Juneau is so very fortunate to have leaders and students like you!
Finally, to the local businesses that annually contribute money, goods, and services to support our Halloween Carnival: Alaska Commercial Contractors, Breeze In, Bullwinkle's Pizza Parlors, Carr's Safeway, Costco, DeHart's, Floors Galore, Imagination Station, JRC The Alaska Club, McDonald's, Nugget Alaskan Outfitters, Southeast Waffle Co., Superbear, 20th Century Gross Alaska Theatres, and the Wee Fishie Shoppe. Through your continued generosity, nearly 400 ghosts and goblins enjoyed an awesome Carnival. Thank you!
Auke Bay School is proud of its annual Halloween Carnival and we know it would not happen without such amazing community support. Thank you to all of you. We very much appreciate your support!
