Delta Junction ATV, dirt bike crash injures teen

FAIRBANKS - A crash between an all-terrain vehicle and a dirt bike in Delta Junction sent a teenager to the hospital in Fairbanks.
Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says a 17-year-old boy on an ATV crashed Friday with an 18-year-old on the motorcycle.
The younger teen was flown to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Peters tells the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner that if the teens had not been wearing helmets, the crash might have been lethal.
