Sharla Anne Zimmerman and Terrance "Terry" Meyer were married Oct. 27, 2007, in a private service in front of Nugget Falls near the Mendenhall Glacier with the bride's sister, Kari Huffman, officiating.

The bride is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Alaska Southeast. She is employed by Ransom and Izzy's, a quality clothing store in Harbor Springs, Mich.
The groom is a graduate of Harbor Springs High school and the Universal Technical Institute of Chicago. He works for the Irish Boat Shop as a marine technician.
The bride was attended by her mother, Pat Magill Stevens, of Juneau, and twin sister, Bonnie Johnston, of Harbor Springs.
The groom was attended by Raymond Huffman and Seth Stevens, who were also the photographers for the wedding.
Terry introduced Sharla to the sport of sailboat racing, which they and their crew enjoy doing on a regular basis. The couple is buying a home and will reside in Harbor Springs. Friends can contact the couple at 6817 Hedrick Road, Harbor Springs, MI, 49740.
