Three people arrested after guitar theft

JUNEAU - Juneau police arrested three people Thursday in connection with a home burglary in which two guitars were stolen.

One suspect was also charged with a drug crime and another suspect also stole a car, police said.

Police said they caught Alexandra Pittman, 19, Talon Lobaugh, 18, and Lester Allen Hunt III, 18, and an unnamed 17-year-old boy trying to sell two stolen guitars on Thursday at a music store in the Mendenhall Valley.

One guitar was valued at $4,000 and the other valued at $1,200.

Pittman was charged with theft and a drug charge. Lobaugh charged with theft. Hunt III was charged with vehicle theft, and the juvenile was released to his parents.
