When will it end?

How much longer can we tolerate what is going on in the governor's office before we Alaskans say enough!

I am wondering why we have elected senators and representatives when their decisions mean nothing and frivolous whims running into millions of dollars come to pass anyway. Isn't there a way to stop this?

For instance, buying a jet plane when there are so few places in Alaska large enough to land it; when governors of other states are downsizing to smaller vehicles to save money. To insist on a gas line through Canada instead of Alaska, which would benefit Alaskans? The firing of Natural Resources commissioner, Tom Irwin, and also losing six of his top staff members with all their years of knowledge and experience. Why take the longevity bonus away from senior citizens when the program was phasing out anyway? Why punish those seniors who were receiving it? Wasn't the program started to keep senior in the state after retirement? This done in the name of cost savings to the state, and then turning around and raising the salaries of the commissioners and hiring a public-relations company to enhance his image.
