ANCHORAGE - A 6-year-old boy was killed in an accident on the Glenn Highway north of Anchorage.
Police say the boy was partially ejected and crushed Sunday when the pickup truck in which he was riding flipped down an embankment.
The mother who was driving, 32-year-old Katherine Ferguson, said she was headed home with four children who were all wearing seat belts.
The Anchorage Daily News reports police said that based on his weight, John Ferguson, probably should have been in a booster seat. The three other children - an 8-year-old boy and girls ages 9 and 11 - were not injured.
