Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Vehicle accidents:
Police cited a man, 61, for failure to yield to oncoming traffic following a two-vehicle accident at 6:10 p.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway and Belardi Drive.
A blue 1988 Honda Accord, driven by the man, struck a green 1997 Chevy S10, driven by a man, 29. Both vehicles sustained about $2,000 in damage.
Animal encounters:
A bear was reported at 10:31 a.m. Sunday near Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek.
Other:
Police arrested a man, 36, on an outstanding Alaska State Trooper warrant at 9:54 p.m. Sunday near South Franklin Street. The warrant charges that the man failed to appear for his sentencing hearing and violated the conditions of his release.
The original charges included two counts of felony assault and violating the conditions of his release. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
