ANCHORAGE - An Anchor Point man has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for selling drugs.
Bandar Jassim Al-Thani was sentenced Friday for conspiring to traffic in heroin and methamphetamine.
Federal prosecutors say Al-Thani conspired to sell large quantities of heroin and methamphetamine, purchasing the drugs from California and selling them on the Kenai Peninsula.
Prosecutors say Al-Thani used three vehicles to traffic drugs. Approximately $19,000 in cash was found inside the vehicles and forfeited.
