Palin appoints 3 to mental health board

ANCHORAGE - Gov. Sarah Palin has made three new appointments to the Alaska Mental Health Board.

Palin appointed Nina Allen of Homer, Randall Jones of Anchorage and Timothy Peters of Anchorage.

She also reappointed Barry Creighton, Andrea Schmook and Stan Steadman to the board.

The 12- to 16-member board is the planning and coordinating body for federal and state laws relating to mental health services.
