Man shot in shoulder as he leaves bar

ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police say a man was shot in the shoulder after he left a downtown bar.

Twenty-two-year-old Timothy Fleagle was struck once. The wound was not considered life-threatening.

Police took the call at 2:35 a.m. Sunday.

Fleagle told officers he had just left the Anchor Bar on Fourth Avenue.

He told officers he had seen the shooter in the bar but did not know him.

Bar security personnel provided first aid until paramedics arrived.
