ANCHORAGE - A judge in Anchorage has pushed back the trial for an Olympia, Wash., woman accused of conspiring to kill a man.
The murder trial for Michele Linehan had been scheduled for January, but her defense lawyer won more time Tuesday to prepare his case.
KTUU reports the judge will decide next month on a new trial date.
This will be the second trial for Linehan. Her first conviction in 2007 was overturned in February by an appeals court.
Linehan once worked as a stripper in Anchorage. She is accused of conspiring with a man to kill her former fiancé in 1996 for his life insurance.
