Strong winds on Wednesday caused some minor isolated power outages due to trees in lines.
Gayle Wood, director of consumer affairs at Alaska Electric Light and Power, said about 345 customers out the road from the Lena substation were without power for about 40 minutes. She said there were some other isolated outages that affected about 75 customers. All power was restored before 5 p.m.
