The Big-B, a 24-foot hydrosport owned by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, sank earlier this week in Harris Harbor. Fish & Wildlife officials reported that the vessel is used by biologists and that it sank possibly because of failed bilge pumps. No gasoline or oil was spilled in the accident. No operator was in the boat when it began taking on water.
