Warren made his home between Allegany and Alaska. He worked as a logger, commercial fisherman and commercial float plane pilot. He was an avid Life Master bridge player. Warren was a lover of adventure and uncertainty. From building a float house for his wife and son in remote Alaska to delivering his own daughter, he met new challenges with enthusiastic determination. As a friend said of him "He was like a big kid - whatever we were doing, Warren just seemed to be having more fun then anyone else."
Warren was very insightful and observant and he felt the beauty of nature and the failings of mankind. Warren is survived by two adventurous ex-wives, three adoring children and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Warren L. Huppi Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 188, Allegany, OR 97407 Arrangements are under the direction of Coos Bay Chapel, (541) 267-3131.
