Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Anthony Johnson Jr., 26, on a charge of drunken driving at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday on Douglas Highway. Police lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested Carl Marvin III, 27, on a charge of drunken driving at 12:53 a.m. Wednesday on outbound Egan Drive near Willoughby Avenue. Police lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

Vehicle accidents:

• A 2003 Holden Avalanche and a 1990 Nissan were involved in an accident at 12:08 p.m. Tuesday near Egan Drive and 12th Street. Police cited the driver of the Nissan on a charge of failing to yield to oncoming traffic. The Avalanche sustained $1,500 damage to the bumper. Damage to the Nissan was estimated at $600.

• A man reported the red Chevrolet he was driving at 11:42 a.m. Wednesday hit a construction truck near Douglas Harbor. The car sustained $1,500 in damage to the front bumper, grill and a quarter panel. Damage to the truck was reported as minimal.

• A 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass was totaled in an accident at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday that sent its driver and passenger to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police reported the 40-year-old man driving the Cutlass was cited on a charge of failing to yield after a stop. The Cutlass hit a 1991 Chevrolet Astro, T-bone style, coming from Willoughby Avenue onto Egan Drive, police reported. The van sustained $3,000 in damage. Its driver, a woman, 43, sustained minor hand injuries.

Hit and run:

• A man reported at 2:39 p.m. Tuesday that his Cadillac, parked near Vintage Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley, was struck by a Ford truck that left the scene. Damage to the Cadillac was estimated at $250.

• A man reported at 6:52 p.m. Tuesday his 1994 Honda Accord was struck while parked near Glacier Highway. No damage estimate was available.


• A man reported the theft of a taillight assembly from his 1993 Toyota truck at 2:46 p.m. Tuesday in the subport parking lot at the downtown waterfront. The stolen part was valued at $105.

• A woman reported at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday that a package of baby clothes valued at $10, plus a pair of gold and amber earrings valued at $20, were stolen from an unlocked Ford Ranger parked near Second and Franklin streets.


• A woman reported at 1:57 a.m. Wednesday that a passenger side window on her 2000 Toyota was broken by an unknown object near Foster Avenue in the West Juneau area. No damage estimate was available.

• A woman reported at 7:18 a.m. Wednesday that her front door had been pelted with eggs the previous night near Delta Drive in the Mendenhall Valley.
