Lisa Norheim, Kimberly Ling and Carol Munro of the state's garden and grounds crew decorate a lodgepole pine Wednesday in the main room of the Governor's House. Executive Residence Manager Karen Newton said this is the first Alaska Christmas tree that has been put up in the 13 years she has worked at the Governor's House. Getting the tree to Juneau was a joint venture by the Thorne Bay Business Association, the Forest Service's Thorne Bay Ranger District, city of Thorne Bay, Alaska Forest Association and Boyer Alaska Bargelines.
