Theft:

Sound off on the important issues at

• At about 1:20 p.m. Sunday, a 20-year-old man reported that prescription medication and 50 CDs in a case were stolen from his BMW in the 3900 block of Portage Boulevard. The thief or thieves entered the vehicle by prying the door frame, the victim said. The items stolen were valued at $228, and a damage estimate was not available.

Traffic accidents:

• At about 4:20 p.m. Sunday, a 32-year-old female driving a Honda struck a Ford driven by a 51-year-old man in the 300 block of Whittier Street. The woman was cited for failure to exercise due care to avoid an accident. Damage estimates amounted to $3,300.

Vandalism:

• At about 1:20 p.m. Sunday, a 73-year-old man reported graffiti spray-painted on a building on Jordan Avenue. Damage was estimated at $100.

• At about 8:10 a.m. Monday, a 45-year-old man reported that his fence had been spray-painted with graffiti and several boards were broken sometime Saturday night on Park Place.

• At about 11 a.m. Monday, a 53-year-old man reported that a front tire on his Toyota had been slashed in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Damage was estimated at $70.
