Juneau resident Laura Tajaran Bohulano died Nov. 18, 2007, at Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau, where she resided for eight years. She was 90.

She was born Aug. 19, 1917, to Severino and Pelagia Tajaran and raised in Tangalan Aklan, Philippines.
She was a local dressmaker and homemaker.
Family members said she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Bohulano; son, Rodel Bohulano; two sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her siblings, Lilia Redaniel, Necy Tajaran, Sonny Tajaran, Ramon Tajaran and Mercy Solidom, all of Tangalan Aklan, Philippines; two daughters, Infinita "Feny" Heyn and her husband, David, of Elgin, Minn., and Marjorie "Margie" Quimpo and her husband, Fred, of Juneau; five sons, Ulysses "Uly" Bohulano and his wife, Sabrina, of Juneau, Jodesis "Judy" Bohulano and his wife, Ella, of Vallejo, Calif., Severino "Boy" Bohulano and his wife, Cathy, of Juneau, Virgilio "Billy" Bohulano and his wife, Lourdes, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Fernando "Jojo" Bohulano and his wife, Desiree, of Rochester, Minn.; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services were on Tuesday at the Alaskan Memorial Park Mortuary. Church services will be at noon today at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
