JDHS girls soccer team to hold skills clinic

JUNEAU - The season may not start until March, but that doesn't mean the fundraisers for the Juneau-Douglas High School girls soccer team take a day off.

The Crimson Bears will host a fundraising youth soccer skills clinic on Friday at the JDHS gym. Children ages 6 to 13 are eligible to participate.

The first session will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, with the second session running from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $25 for a half day or $40 for the entire event.

Players are encouraged to bring their own lunches, snacks, shin guards and nonmarking indoor gym shoes to the clinic.
