ANCHORAGE - Geologists say a moderate earthquake has rattled part of Alaska's remote Aleutian Islands.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the quake struck at 1:14 a.m. Saturday in the Andreanof Islands region, about 24 miles from Adak.
It had a preliminary magnitude of 5.2 and was located at a depth of about 23 miles.
The center says it received no immediate reports that the quake was felt or caused any damage.
