Mr. Chamblee's letter indicates that because he does not agree with the aerial wolf control program here in Alaska, he will not be coming to visit us. I want to thank Mr. Chamblee for writing. Now I won't have to worry about leaving the light on for him. Whether he agrees with it or not, wolf control is allowed, lawful and needed. Should he have made his trip, he would be a guest here in our great state. He doesn't live here, pay taxes here or vote here. So he shouldn't try to make changes to our community or complain about our way of doing things. If he feels compelled to fix something, I suggest he start with his own neighborhood. Then if he feels up to the challenge perhaps, he could make the necessary changes to his city to complete the vision he seeks. In the future, he should refrain from expressing his opinion on how my state should be run and focus his efforts closer to home.
