Woodrow Fralix, 48, was arrested on a charge of assault as he was being treated in the Bartlett Regional Hospital emergency room for minor facial injuries after a fight outside of a bar in the 100 block of South Franklin Street.

Fralix called police to say he had been assaulted by another man, police said. But investigators determined he started the fight shortly before 8:20 p.m. and then allegedly pulled out a 10-inch hunting knife. Police said Fralix swung the blade at another unidentified man, cutting his jacket.

Fralix was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center following his arrest.
