Bruce Botelho new president of Alaska Conference of Mayors

JUNEAU - Mayor Bruce Botelho was installed as the president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors, a constituent organization of the Alaska Municipal League, last week.

His duties will include presiding at meetings, participating on the league's board of directors - which he already does in another capacity - and testifying on behalf of the conference at legislative hearings.

The term is one year long.
