The late Catholic bishop of Juneau, Michael Hughes Kenny, carrying the cross, leads a Pilgrimage for Peace in 1984 from St Paul's Catholic Church to the Shrine of St. Therese. The march was not a protest but in support of peace. Bishop Kenny was the bishop of Juneau from May 1979 until his death in February 1995.
