Longtime Juneau resident Paul Rod Ramirez, 84, died Nov. 19, 2004, at the Bartlett Regional Hospital.
He was born March 2, 1920, in Johnson, Ariz., to Pablo Ramirez and Juana (Castro) Florez, both from Mexico.
He worked as a security guard at the Alaska State Museum.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Maharaj of Juneau; sisters, Ruth Mendoza, Carmen Borjorquez, Jennie Acuna and Josie Lerma, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Gourdy Ramirez of Phoenix; and grandchildren, family and friends too numerous to mention.
A service will be held at 12 p.m. Nov. 26, 2004, at the Catholic Cathedral of the Nativity, Gold and Fifth streets.
