Are gas prices dropping?

I've just heard on National Public Radio that the prices for gasoline have dropped 18 cents across the nation in the last few weeks. The report stated that the highest current gasoline prices were in Hawaii at $2.64. Apparently, Alaska and Juneau were not considered in those figures. When will we be able to experience that 18-cent drop? Instead of trying to figure out how to gouge more taxes out of us, the city administration might begin to determine just why it is gas prices have not fallen here in Juneau as they have elsewhere.
