Photo: A tree fit for the Governor's Mansion

Posted: Thursday, November 23, 2006

Department of Administration employees, from left, Dave Blackwell, Paul Disdier and Brian Parker measure the Governor's Mansion Christmas tree on Wednesday before cutting it so it will fit in the mansion. The 16-foot lodgepole pine was provided by Jim and Jeannie McFarland and other residents of Thorne Bay, a community on Prince of Wales Island. This is the fourth year they have provided the tree for the mansion. The annual open house will be Dec. 11.
