ANCHORAGE - A 20-year-old Wasilla man was sentenced to two years in prison for being a felon in possession of a weapon and for possessing a stolen firearm.

Kevin Jainese was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Burgess.

Federal prosecutors said Jainese and two others broke into Rainbow Pawn on July 12.

Prosecutors said they took a .22-caliber gun and other items.

The incident was captured on a surveillance camera.

Jainese previously had been convicted of burglary and car theft.
