KETCHIKAN - The Inter-Island Ferry Authority has released its 2009 northern route.
The ferry Prince of Wales will run round-trip service between Coffman Cove, Wrangell and Petersburg each Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 1 through Sept. 21.
IFA General Manager Bruce Jones says the state transportation department also has chartered the Prince of Wales to operate twice-daily round-trip shuttle service between Wrangell and the South Mitkof terminal from March 31 through April 21.
The ferry will provide access to air transportation in Wrangell while the Petersburg airport undergoes runway work.
