Dick Hand, president of Alaska Seafood Co., and Bill Kasparoff prepare turkeys for smoking Wednesday at the Alaska Seafood Co. Hand and his employees donated their time and expertise to smoke about 30 turkeys for the Thanksgiving dinner at the Hangar on the Wharf. The dinner is sponsored by the Salvation Army. "It's one of our ways of giving back to the community," Hand said. The dinner is from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
