School: Auke Bay Elementary School

Art of choice: She is a painter and enjoys to draw.

All in the family: Madison's mother likes to make art pieces out of clay, and her grandmother enjoys drawing and painting.

What if: She wonders if artists could create metal animals that come to life.

Future plans: Madison wants to become a veterinarian and draw pictures of animals.

Her teacher, Kara Lockhart, says: "Madison spends all of her free time working on art or craft projects. She illustrates school assignments carefully, including lots of detail. She loves to thoughtfully examine the art in children's stories. Madison is patient, careful and focused as she works on art projects."

You should know: She can make pancakes in the shapes of dogs and Mickey Mouse.
