ANCHORAGE - Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell continues to fill out his cabinet with two appointments Wednesday.
Bryan Butcher has been appointed as revenue commissioner. Bill Streur has been named acting commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Butcher is currently the director of governmental relations and public affairs for the Alaska Housing Finance Corp. He replaces Pat Galvin at the Department of Revenue.
Streur is the deputy commissioner for Medicaid and health care policy at DHHS. He replaces Bill Hogan.
After winning a full term earlier this month, Parnell asked all current commissioners to submit resignation letters as he builds a new leadership team.
