Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Assaults:
Police arrested a man, 45, for domestic violence assault at 4:37 a.m. today downtown. He also was charged with interfering with a domestic violence report. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Police believe alcohol was a factor.
Thefts:
Four crabs were reported stolen at 6:07 a.m. Monday from near Glacier Highway. The crabs were valued at $5 each.
A black Nokia cell phone was reported stolen at 8:28 a.m. Monday from a vehicle on Glacier Highway in Lemon Creek. The phone is valued at $150.
About 20 CDs in a black and blue case were reported stolen at 6:02 p.m. Monday near Northwood Drive.
Vandalism and criminal mischief:
A mailbox was reported damaged at 11:14 a.m. Monday near Stephen Richards Drive. The mailbox is valued at $25. The box was damaged over the weekend.
Vehicle accidents:
No one was injured during a two-vehicle accident at 5:10 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway. A Ford van driven by a man, 54, struck a Chevy Avalanche driven by a woman, 19. Both vehicles sustained about $700 in damage. Police cited the man for an unsafe lane change.
