... to the donors
Thank you to the generous donors, employees and volunteers of St. Vincent de Paul Society and to the Catholic Community Service (CCS) employees and volunteers who so generously gave of their time, talents and treasures to provide food baskets for Catholic Community Service clients. Thanks to this program, CCS was able to provide 119 Thanksgiving dinners to client families. Once more, the generosity of this community is amazing, and we are most grateful.

... from the Girl Scouts
The Tongass Alaska Girl Scout Council (TAGSC) held its 13th Annual Auction Saturday, Nov. 13, and it was very successful thanks to many people. We are so grateful for the support of the Girl Scout program.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the auction sponsor, Holland America; Senator Kim Elton and his assistants Mike Ford and Marylou Elton; and the staff at the Baranof Hotel, who were so wonderful to work with, especially Susan Kaeser, Steve Hamilton, and Daniel. Thanks also to Ann Chandonnet and Jetta Whittaker for handling our publicity, and to KINY's Capital Chat and Chris Burns, KTOO, and the Juneau Empire for all of their support.
