...for your support.
It seemed only appropriate to wait until now to get this letter in the paper. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and be thankful for all of the things that we have in life - our family, our friends and the freedoms that we are all so fortunate to have.
Twenty-five years ago we decided to start our own business. We opened Latitude 58 in 1977, before the boom of the tourist industry, with the idea to be available to our "locals" as well as the few tour ships that were coming in. It was with this concept and the support of our local community that we were able to be successful. It is very important to support those businesses that are open all year as they are part of the foundation of our business community.
So our hats are off to you, our wonderful and dedicated customers, for your kindness and support over the past 25 years. We will miss you more than you know. Thanks for the friendships and the memories that you have given us. We will never forget you.
In closing, remember, "To give real service you must add something that cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity." God bless and stay well.
