Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Drunken driving:
Police arrested 32-year-old John Lee Salyers on a charge of drunken driving at 2:50 p.m. Thursday in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Domestic dispute:
Police arrested a 32-year-old man on charges of domestic-violence assault and interfering with a report of domestic violence at 2:50 p.m. Thursday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the state prison.
Trespassing:
Police arrested a 28-year-old man on a trespassing charge at 3:36 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of West 12th Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison
Theft:
A blue backpack was reported stolen at 7:46 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of West Willoughby Avenue downtown. With its contents, it was valued at $55.
A checkbook was reported stolen at 3:08 p.m. Friday in the 5000 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.
Vandalism:
At 1:47 p.m. Friday, a tire on a 1994 Mazda was reported punctured in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway in the Mendenhall Valley.
A 2001 GMC truck was reported pelted by eggs at 8:20 p.m. Friday on Sharon Street in the valley.
Vehicle accidents:
A Dodge Neon reportedly backed into a Ford pickup at 4:59 p.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of Trout Street near the airport. The Neon was driven by a 21-year-old man. The pickup was driven by a 42-year-old man. No damage estimate was available.
At 5 p.m. Thursday, a parked 2004 Subaru was reported struck by another vehicle at Second Street near Seward Street downtown. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
Police cited a man, 24, on a charge of careless driving after an accident at 3:23 p.m. Friday on Glacier Highway near Jordan Avenue near the airport. The man was driving a 1994 Dodge Shadow that sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage. Also involved in the accident was a 2005 Subaru Forester, driven by a 52-year-old man. The Subaru sustained an estimated $3,000 in damage.
Police cited a 20-year-old man at 2:44 a.m. Saturday on a speeding charge after a single-vehicle accident in the 4200 block of Glacier Highway in the Twin Lakes area. About $8,000 in damage was estimated on the 1995 Acura he was driving.
Damage was estimated at $2,500 to a 1976 Ford truck and $3,000 to a 1999 Chevrolet truck reportedly involved in an accident at 9:52 a.m. Saturday on Glacier and 12th avenues downtown. The Ford was driven by a 61-year-old man, and the Chevrolet was driven by a 54-year-old man.
Traffic stop:
Police impounded a vehicle at 12:14 a.m. Saturday on Nowell Avenue in the Douglas area after citing the driver, a 16-year-old boy, on a charge of driving without a valid license.
Police impounded a vehicle at 1:48 a.m. Saturday at Front and Franklin streets downtown after citing the driver, a 19-year-old Metlakatla man, on a charge of driving without a valid license.
