Juneau-Douglas High School girls basketball head coach Lesslie Knight, top, center, leads the JV and Varsity players in a cheer Monday at the Juneau-Douglas High School gym. Monday was the first day of basketball practice for both the boys and girls teams. The team will travel to North Carolina for games on Dec. 7-8.
