Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

Police arrested a man, 26, at 4:48 a.m. today in the Mendenhall Valley area for domestic violence assault. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

A boy reported at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday from West Ninth Street that his backpack was stolen from a lobby around 4 p.m.

Domestic violence calls: 1.

Crime Line:

Juneau Crime Line Inc., is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for the theft of a radio system from a vehicle parked in front of the Senior Center. Taken from the vehicle was a Kenwood CD player valued at $750, an MTX 2150 amplifier valued at $500 and an AJL Audio speaker box with three speakers valued at $1,050.
