...for your help at the fund-raiser
On Saturday, Nov. 10, an amazing group of performers and parents helped to raise over $1,000 for art education at Harborview Elementary. These fine folks included: Performers Julie Mae Pigott, Jeff Brown, Roblin Davis (Mumbles the Clown) and Dawn Pisel-Davis, Ms. Clara Bella. Without their energy, enthusiasm and talent there couldn't have been a show. Special thanks goes to Julie Pigott for being the mastermind behind the organization.
Thanks also goes to an outstanding group of parents who helped to keep things running smoothly. Their tireless commitment towards art education at Harborview Elementary is making a difference in the lives of all of the students. These amazing individuals include: Marna McGonegal and the Harborview PTA, Mindy Cryts, Jeff Goodell and Crew, and especially, Shelagh Sands and Susan Sloss for always keeping us on the right track. Thank you, thank you. When it's my turn to say what I'm thankful for at my Thanksgiving dinner, you all will be hitting the top of my list.

...for your time and aid
Thanksgiving Day is over, yet it reminds us to appreciate all those throughout the year who have donated time, money, and generosity to the less fortunate.
Juneau Elks Lodge # 420 wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have assisted with our charities during the past year. To the supermarkets, which have donated food to the First Thanksgiving in March for Juneau Food Bank; to the contractors, who have loaned their vehicles for the 4th of July parade; to the media, for spreading the word; to the members and non members alike, who have given of their time and money to our community; and not the least to our veterans and active military, who have protected our values;
We thank you.
Juneau Elks Lodge # 420 will continue these charitable activities in the forthcoming year with the generous support by our community citizens.
Again, we thank you.
