Thank you to everyone who participated in the Juneau Feet First Clinics.
We started offering the clinics two years ago to meet the need for routine foot care for persons unable to provide their own.
These clinics dramatically decrease the development of serious foot problems and amputations, especially in people with diabetes.
Thanks to Kathy Capacci, RN, CDE, SEARHC; Leah Davis, PT; Merritt Hogan, ANP, Juneau Pioneer Home; Fred Howard, coordinator, Senior Information Center; Anh Lam, DPM, Southeast Foot and Ankle Center; Colleen McNulty, PHN, Juneau Public Health Center; Ellen Northup, manager, Juneau Senior Center; Marilyn Taylor, RN, Bartlett Regional Hospital; Lida Travis, RN, RD, Juneau Medical Clinic; and Sue Webb, PHN, Juneau Public Health Center.
Thank you for your good work and the expertise, enthusiasm and care you bring to it.
Sally Urvina,
Diabetes Coordinator
