Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Sound off on the important issues at

Automobile accident:

• The police received a report at 5:18 p.m. Sunday that a black Chevy truck was struck by another vehicle near the 1600 block of Renninger Street in the Lemon Creek area. Damage was estimated at $500.

• A 21-year-old woman driving a 1995 Ford struck a 1999 Saturn, driven by a 17-year-old boy, at 7:48 p.m. Sunday on Riverside Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. Both vehicles were totaled. The woman was cited for negligent driving.

Domestic assault:

• A 39-year-old man was arrested at 8:47 p.m. Sunday and charged with domestic assault near the 9700 block of Nine Mile Creek Road in the Bayview Area. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A 24-year-old woman reported at 12:59 p.m. Sunday that her purse was stolen from her 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee near the 4400 block of Trafalgar Avenue in the valley. Total losses were estimated at $390.
