A hiker plows his way along a snowy Mount Roberts Trail on Friday at about 1,900 feet elevation - 100 feet or so below the upper terminal of the Mount Roberts Tramway. The trail from the Sixth Avenue stairs to about 100 feet below the level pictured was damp but mostly clear of snow. Deer and irate squirrels made their presence known along the way.
