SERRC - Alaska's Educational Resource Center's Career Connections program is a week-long program that offers high school students the opportunity to job shadow, learn job-seeking skills, and participate in job exploration activities.

On Nov. 17, students from around the state came to Juneau to job shadow at the following organizations and businesses: Alaska Department of Health & Social Services; Bartlett Regional Hospital; city Engineering Department; city Wastewater Management; Glacier Pediatrics; Gold Creek Child Development Center; Home Depot; JRC The Alaska Club; Juneau Physical Therapy; Juneau Police Department; Northern Light United Church; Perseverance Theatre; SEARHC; Sonosky Chambers Sachse Miller & Munson LLP; U.S. Forest Service and Valley Medical Care.

On behalf of these students and their teachers, the Career Connections staff would like to thank the aforementioned businesses and their staff for helping these students explore careers while learning the traits necessary to become a good employee.
