ANCHORAGE - Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell has ordered that state flags be lowered in honor of Brad Phillips, a tourism pioneer and former state senator.
Phillips - who launched the first cruise tours of Prince William Sound in the 1950s - died Monday in Seattle at age 84.
Parnell has ordered that flags be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday, the day a memorial service for Phillips will be held in Anchorage.
