Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Toby Staveland, 23, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. Saturday near Hamilton Street on charges of drunken driving, driving with a revoked or suspended license, and driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vehicle accidents:

• A 1998 Toyota pickup struck a 1996 Chevrolet pickup at 11:39 a.m. Friday at Mendenhall Loop Road and the Glacier Spur. Damage to the Toyota was estimated at $500 to $1,000. Damage to the Chevrolet was estimated at $4,000.

• A 1994 Dodge pickup driven by a man, 18, struck a Capital Transit bus at 4:20 p.m. Friday on Teal Street. No one was hurt.

• A Chevy truck driven by a man, 25, rear-ended a 2003 Honda Civic driven by a man, 26, at 5:15 p.m. Friday near Brotherhood Bridge. Combined damage was estimated at $1,500.

• A 1997 Ford Taurus driven by a woman, 44, collided with a 1989 Chevy truck driven by a man, 46, at 5:40 p.m. Friday near Egan Drive and Vanderbilt Hill Road. The truck had $200 damage.

• A 1997 Ford truck driven by a woman, 45, struck the retaining wall at 7:45 p.m. Friday on Egan Drive. The truck had $1,000 damage.

• A 1986 Chevy driven by a woman, 39, collided with a 1994 Dodge driven by a man, 67, at 9:45 a.m. Saturday near Davis Street. Damage was estimated at $1,000 to each vehicle. The woman was cited on a charge of failure to yield after stopping.

• A 1995 Nissan driven by a woman, 50, struck a 1994 Chevy driven by a woman, 35, at 11:20 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway and Lemon Creek. Each vehicle had $1,500 damage. The Nissan driver was cited on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance.

Hit and run:

• A man reported at 9:10 a.m. Friday that his 1994 Chevrolet truck was struck while parked on D Street in Douglas.

Theft:

• Four rings and a tan bi-fold wallet was reported stolen at 1:05 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway. The rings were described as one platinum ring with diamonds, one platinum ring with two diamonds and a sapphire, one yellow gold ring with diamonds and one yellow gold ring with three diamonds and four sapphires. The wallet reportedly contained identification, cash and credit cards.

Domestic disputes:

• Police arrested a woman, 37, on a domestic-violence assault charge at 1:09 p.m. Thursday in the Mendenhall Valley. She was lodged at the state prison.

• Police arrested a man, 30, at 9:35 p.m. in the Lemon Creek area on domestic-violence charges of criminal mischief and assault, as well as an allegation that he had violated conditions of his release from previous custody. He was lodged at the state prison.

Found property:

• At 6:36 p.m. Thursday, a black leather purse was reportedly found near Fish Creek Road on Douglas Island. Police placed it in safekeeping.

Animal encounters:

• Two bears were reportedly seen at 3:13 p.m. Thursday near Skaters Cabin at Mendenhall Lake.

Other:

• A woman, 45, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Friday near Glacier Highway on charges of criminal trespass and being drunk on licensed premises. She was lodged at the state prison.
