Emily Camille Richardson of Anchorage and Sanjay Chaudhury of Kolkata, India, were married on Nov. 17, 2005, in their Juneau home. Charlotte Carroll presided as marriage commissioner. Kathy Peterson and Lisa Eagan were witnesses. Kristin Garot, Drake Peterson and the bride's mother, Patricia Richardson, also attended the ceremony.
The bride moved to Juneau from Eugene, Ore., four years ago. She is the daughter of Patricia Richardson of Anchorage and the late Ronald Richardson. She graduated from East Anchorage High School and received her bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Oregon in Eugene. She works as an intern architect for Jensen Yorba Lott Inc. in Juneau.
The groom moved to Juneau from Fairbanks about a year ago. He is the son of Rahul and Anjali Chaudhury of Kolkata, India. He graduated from Don Bosco School in Park Circus, Kolkata. He received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Jadavpur University in Kolkata and his master's in civil engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He is a professional engineer for USKH Inc. in Juneau.
The couple will exchange rings and hold a reception in Juneau in July 2006. They will also have a celebration in India in October 2006.
