Ketchikan hires new economic manager

KETCHIKAN - A Montana woman has been hired as the economic development manager for the Ketchikan Gateway Borough.

Deborah Hayden of Helena, Mont. accepted the $60,000 a year position Tuesday.

She currently works as director of Swiftcurrent Ventures, an economic development organization. She is a certified economic development professional and member of the International Economic Development Council.
